PSOE Ayamonte

PSOEGROUP

1. Why should I vote for your party in this election?

We have an ambitious but very real project, which intends to promote Ayamonte. In addition, we have a very professional team that has a lot of experience in different sectors. We have a lawyer, an urban architect, a sports technician, a social worker, a person with a diploma in Business Studies, a person with a degree in History, a teacher. That is to say each have their own specific training, everyone has their own jobs, and they have been attracted to the project simply because of the fact they want to change the course of Ayamonte, and they are giving it everything without any interest other than betting on their people and changing the history of it.

2. Walking around the streets of Ayamonte you always come across dog excrement, I know there was a campaign to educate dog owners on the matter and fines introduced however the problem persists. Do you have any plans to tackle this problem?

We have several measures in the electoral program to address this problem, which many people, associations and groups have transferred to us. Among these measures, we will create various "Dog friendly areas" distributed throughout the municipality for the deposit of dog excrements and we will recover the vehicle known as "Motocaca" for the cleaning of dog excrement. We will also launch various awareness campaigns for the public.

3. There are a number of unfinished and deteriorating buildings in Ayamonte are there any plans to tidy up this aspect?

We have an urban architect on our list, Ana Mateos, and it is something that has stressed a lot since from the beginning, that we must significantly improve the image of Ayamonte from the deterioration of these last years. In this sense we will implement special and specific plans to correct these situations.

4. The Congress & Exhibition Centre is still closed will it ever open?

It is incomprehensible that the current government team has not inaugurated it as many administrative and judicial problems were resolved many months ago. If they do not do it, of course we are going to put it in motion, and turn it into a factor of dynamization of the local economy and the region, and a fundamental element in the struggle against seasonal tourism.

5. Pozo del Camino and Punta de Moral have Doctors offices but Costa Esuri still does not have one are there any plans to build one?

Yes, one of our first measures will be to make land available and negotiate with the competent administrations the construction and provision of the Medical center.

6. Will the road Ronda Felipe IV be opened so traffic can come into Ayamonte along the River Guadiana?

Of course, once the works on Calle de Las Flores are finished, it will be open to traffic, and you will be able to reach the center in a more direct fashion.

7. Access to fibre optic internet connection is becoming more important, however on Isla Canela and parts of Costa Esuri and the new industrial estate it is still not available. Does your party have any plans to ensure high speed internet connection for all Ayamonte?

Technology is another of the fundamental pillars of our electoral program. In this sense, we will implement various measures aimed at correcting situations such as those described in the question. We will also place several free Wi-Fi points, distributed throughout the municipality, and we will create a Digital Communication Plan for citizens, so that they have immediate access to all the news of the municipality and its neighborhoods.

8. The road surfaces throughout Ayamonte have deteriorated a lot do you have any plan to resolve this problem?

We have drawn up an Annual Resurfacing Plan for both the urban area and neighborhoods. It is not logical that the citizens have had to endure authentic sinkholes for years.

9. Should you be elected Mayor what is the single most important change you would make in Ayamonte during your term in Office?

There are many actions that we would undertake immediately, among them it is worth mentioning a Tourism Competitiveness Plan already designed and scheduled to start running on the first day we take office as a government team. We also bet on the environment, in this sense, we will convert the Prudencio Navarro Park into the lung of the Town. We also want to boost trade and local businesses and return the associations and local groups to prominence in the town, supporting them in all their initiatives. With respect to Costa Esuri, we will execute all the guarantees that for no known reason have not been executed, to improve the image and carry out all the planned reforms and works.

10. It is very difficult to find parking spaces in Ayamonte, especially now with the works along the river, do you have any plans to alleviate this problem?

Yes, in fact, we have as part of our electoral program expressly outlined the release of new parking areas in several points of the municipality, especially in the town center. It is something, that many people have demanded, including the businesses in the town center and the Food Market, and we understand that this is a priority.

Adelante Ayamonte

AAGROUP

1. Why should I vote for your party in this election?

We think that Adelante Ayamonte's candidacy is the most prepared and with the most realistic program to govern Ayamonte (a program that can be seen on the Facebook page "forward Ayamonte") when compared to any other political party. Our group brings together youth, experience and work, in addition to working for the welfare of all citizens of the population and not looking at political allegiances as we do not have baggage with anyone.

2. Walking around the streets of Ayamonte you always come across dog excrement, I know there was a campaign to educate dog owners on the matter and fines introduced however the problem persists. Do you have any plans to tackle this problem?

We believe that education is essential to have an animal and take care of it. From within the Town Hall we will promote citizen awareness campaigns based on the professionals that help us in our program, to explain that having a pet carries a responsibility. We believe that education carries more weight than the penalties.

3. There are a number of unfinished and deteriorating buildings in Ayamonte are there any plans to tidy up this aspect?

Adelante Ayamonte will create a study of deteriorated and / or unfinished buildings. We believe that it is necessary to demand responsibilities from those that allowed constructions without control or at least without real control of the reality. We will also encourage the "heritage council" to really be an element of control over our heritage and not what is currently a council without functionality.

4. The Congress & Exhibition Centre is still closed will it ever open?

Adelante Ayamonte believes that this palace is crazy, we said it right from its initiation and now time has proved us correct. This political group thinks that it will be necessary to give it its use and, above all, to explain to the citizens the cost of this mastodon that is the inheritance of archaic and megalomanic policies that this political group will not allow anymore.

5. Pozo del Camino and Punta de Moral have Doctors offices but Costa Esuri still does not have one are there any plans to build one?

Adelante Ayamonte will fight to have better Health care conditions, educational etc. This political group will emphasize improving all services, but without making promises which we can not fulfill. It is clear to us that we are not going to lie, and this matter depends on the Junta de Andalucía, we will fight for it, but without guaranteeing what is not in our hands.

6. Will the road Ronda Felipe IV be opened so traffic can come into Ayamonte along the River Guadiana?

Our answer is exactly the same as the previous question, in this case it depends on Ministry of Public Works. Whatever is in our hands and is beneficial for the people of Ayamonte and its citizens, we will be there.

7. Access to fibre optic internet connection is becoming more important, however on Isla Canela and parts of Costa Esuri and the new industrial estate it is still not available. Does your party have any plans to ensure high speed internet connection for all Ayamonte?

Fiber optic is a problem belonging to private companies. From the Town Council we will promote new technologies within a sustained development and without abusing antennas to avoid radiation. This political group is very aware of Progress but controlled and sustained manner.

8. The road surfaces throughout Ayamonte have deteriorated a lot do you have any plan to resolve this problem?

Adelante Ayamonte contemplates in its program a plan to asphalt the whole municipality. We understand that this is a priority and so we will develop it. What we have clear is that we will not cheat, first we will see what there is and then we will study the measures that need to be taken. We will guarantee that it will not be a patching up job as has been done so far.

9. Should you be elected Mayor what is the single most important change you would make in Ayamonte during your term in Office?

For Adelante Ayamonte we believe that some "participatory budgets" will be a fundamental motor for the change in neighbourhoods and in the surroundings of the population. From this political group we believe in citizen participation and we believe that social agents must be involved. We want to be a transparent town hall and we want to be the vehicle for the citizen to see the town hall as an aid to his problems and not a problem. Adelante Ayamonte wants to be a helping element, not an obstacle.

10. It is very difficult to find parking spaces in Ayamonte, especially now with the works along the river, do you have any plans to alleviate this problem?

We will promote public transport, promote sustainable transport (bike lanes, greenways ..), we will encourage citizens who want a greener town, with less fumes and with more solutions than just taking the car. Adelante Ayamonte believes in a more modern mobility and does not believe that the car is the solution. The future is sustainable vehicles and we are going to bet on that.

Ciudadanos Ayamonte

CGROUP

1. Why should I vote for your party in this election?

Ciudadanos is a party made up of people from normal citizens with the sole purpose of working for Ayamonte and for anyone who considers themselves to be part of Ayamonte. We are not professional politicians and we do not have any pretensions other than to raise Ayamonte to the position it deserves which other political parties have not managed to do. We believe that Ayamonte should not be governed by hasty decisions or grants, but rather that it needs a strategic development plan, taking into account the most representative sectors of Ayamonte’ s society, such as tourism, fishing, in addition to businesses and the hotel industry, all linked to our unique geography and history and culture. This plan is of vital importance, in order to offer a quality destination within an increasingly globalized world where the competition of other municipalities is an increasingly pressing problem that we must not overlook. We are not going to arrive promising things that we do not know if we can complete, our main promise is to listen to the people/inhabitants. Politics should be an instrument to serve the people and should be considered as the driving force for a common good and should never be used as a tool at the service of a minority.

2. Walking around the streets of Ayamonte you always come across dog excrement, I know there was a campaign to educate dog owners on the matter and fines introduced however the problem persists. Do you have any plans to tackle this problem?

Values, such as civility and education, are fundamental for the good coexistence and decorum of a town like Ayamonte. One of the proposals that we contemplate in our program is the regularization of any type of domestic animal, so that in this way we can carry out a census by species for its rapid identification. Ayamonte should be a reference in the province as an example of civic responsibility, and for this reason we are committed to increasing awareness through advertising campaigns, talks in schools and the inclusion of activities under the name "eClean City" In addition, we will look to increase the sanction for the defecation of domestic animals on public roads, rewarding even those who actively participate to eradicate this poor example of public spirit.

3. There are a number of unfinished and deteriorating buildings in Ayamonte are there any plans to tidy up this aspect?

There are legal channels to alleviate this image, only political will is needed, and we have it. There are many housing developments that are not finished which belong to banking entities. They are the proprietors of these developments and they must finish the development as set out in the original planning permission. There are also unfenced plots and houses in ruins that have their owners or supposed owners, which is easy to locate. But it is the responsibility of the Town Council to demand that they comply with the ordinances and that they are completely fenced, finished, decent and clean to avoid the proliferation of harmful species for the inhabitants of the city. It's a matter of good will and management, not public money.

4. The Congress & Exhibition Centre is still closed will it ever open?

One of the electoral promises of the present municipal corporation was the opening of the Congress and exhibitions Center, something that has not happened with the consequent damage that this represents, both for the city, which sees its capacity to attract new visitors diminish, as for the building itself, due to the non-use of the installations and no maintenance, as it deteriorates year after year with the consequent increase in cost that this causes for its launch/opening. One of the fundamental objectives that Ciudadanos Ayamonte considers is the consolidation of tourism outside the summer season, and here the Congress Centre plays a fundamental role. After meetings held with large companies that are established in our city, these inform us about the need they have to bring another type of tourism, the opening of the Congress Centre, tourism that currently uses nearby locations that have this service. For all these reasons within the strategic plan of tourism development we place great importance on the upcoming opening of the Palace of Congress and exhibitions.

5. Pozo del Camino and Punta de Moral have Doctors offices but Costa Esuri still does not have one are there any plans to build one?

The health competencies correspond to the autonomic government, that is to say with the Junta de Andalucía, which for 40 years has been governed by the PSOE. Since Ciudadanos is in the autonomous government of Andalusia, it has come to light that there were 506,408 people (60% of the Andalusian waiting lists)that were not accounted for in the official statistics. For the implementation of primary care centers, the population ratios and distance that exist between centers are taken into account. Costa Esury complies with these ratios considerably, which is why we should ask ourselves why, today and in the 21st century, there is no primary health care center in this area of Ayamonte, or at least at times of the year when residents multiply. Ciudadanos Ayamonte, given that it has direct communication with the government of the Junta de Andalucía, will communicate this need and work tirelessly on this matter, so that if the current conditions are met, it will persistently be demanded.

6. Will the road Ronda Felipe IV be opened so traffic can come into Ayamonte along the River Guadiana?

Yes, we have a plan to connect the center of the city, through Calle de las Flores and with the roundabout of the new industrial estate and thus reduce traffic through the centre of town, Galdámez street and Camino de la Noria. This new access will also serve as an evacuation route within the evacuation plan of the municipality that we will update when obtain the town council, since we do not know if there is a disaster evacuation plan, and if there is one, it is absolutely unknown to the population.

7. Access to fibre optic internet connection is becoming more important, however on Isla Canela and parts of Costa Esuri and the new industrial estate it is still not available. Does your party have any plans to ensure high speed internet connection for all Ayamonte?

The installation of optic fiber optic lies with each company supplying this service, so they are the ones that must proceed with the installation. These companies evaluate the installation according to the number of customers that can use the service and the economic viability. For the installation of the fiber optic in urban areas, it is necessary to request the corresponding building permits which are granted by the town council, a suitable moment to initiate conversations with the supplying companies and urge them to carry out the installation in peripheral neighborhoods. These efforts should already be made and resolved, but apparently 4 years are not enough to solve this type of problem. In Ayamonte there should be no first or second-class inhabitants, they all have the same obligations, therefore everyone must have the same rights and equal services within the whole municipality.

8. The road surfaces throughout Ayamonte have deteriorated a lot do you have any plan to resolve this problem?

In the current municipal budget there is a amount assigned for the resurfacing of part of the town since they were approved to carried out this year, but apparently its execution is not important if a political yield to be gained, apparently for the Popular Party government the next elections are more important than the welfare of the Ayamontinos, they are more concerned about the position of their councilors than the discomfort and bad image that the current situation conveys. The same happens with Costa Esuri, these works will start in the electoral period when they start thinking that they will remain in the town hall. We know with what intention things are done, we know that we are not a priority for the current government, we know that professional politicians only worry about their salary. We are not like them. Ciudadanos believes that Ayamonte needs a restructuring of its footpaths and pavements and not only the asphalt. We also note the deterioration of the sidewalks in Costa Esuri or the pavement in the town centre. The strategic plan of development contemplates the replacement of the existing pavement and in other cases the replacement by a more resistant pavement taking into account the use to which it is being submitted.

9. Should you be elected Mayor what is the single most important change you would make in Ayamonte during your term in Office?

As we have mentioned before, Ayamonte can not be governed by hasty decisions or grants, Ayamonte needs a STRATEGIC PLAN OF GENERATIONAL DEVELOPMENT that integrates all sectors of Ayamonte’s society within the framework of sustainable development that comes with our geographical situation and with the respect to our history and culture. Ayamonte needs a reference for where to go, a place to go and an ambitious destination that transforms our city into something more than a beautiful town. For this reason we will develop a common line of work where we can walk towards the Ayamonte of the future. A reorganization of the town centre, where the hospitality sector and pedestrian coexist perfectly, unifying criteria in terms of the aesthetics of awnings, Courses in foreign languages, increased street cleaning, comprehensive maintenance of squares and streets . It is intolerable the state of neglect that can be seen in the Plaza de la Laguna and its surroundings, where we continually see how they limit themselves to patching up what has deteriorated, and in many cases, not even that. Establishing a mobility plan in the municipality is fundamental, the rearrangement of traffic and the management of parking. The huge influx of visitors in summer makes it necessary to modify access to the town centre, establish an evacuation plan for any contingency and altercation that may occur. We need to attract new investors, we see how in nearby cities, large areas are developed while Ayamonte is forgotten, we need to encourage quality employment, so that our talent does not have to leave the town. We need policies so that a large company can be installed in Ayamonte in record time, facilitate the procedures and not put more obstacles should be the common goal of any corporation. We have observed how in the past large companies have wanted to settle in the locality and the neglect by the politicians have made them desist in the attempt, this can not be tolerated and must be taken into account in the upcoming elections. Ciudadanos is a party composed of people from civil society, businessmen, professionals, who have not afraid of work and who are perfectly aware of the most important problems that the town has.

10. It is very difficult to find parking spaces in Ayamonte, especially now with the works along the river, do you have any plans to alleviate this problem?

The execution of the works "Ayamonte Mira al Rio" will lead to a reduction in parking within the town centre, transferring them to the San Francisco area. The central area of Ayamonte due to its disposition makes it practically impossible to create new parking areas, for which we believe that the solution is to promote urban transport and the best connection with new parking areas, located in the immediate vicinity of the congress palace. Another proposal that we have in our electoral program, is the creation of a footbridge / bridge / viewpoint, just above the entrance to the marina, to be able to connect, in this way, the center of Ayamonte with the south zone of the shore of the marina. This plot, due to its extension is ideal due to its location for a large parking area that considerably alleviates the problem of parking of vehicles, especially in summer, when the problem becomes considerably more problematic.
