Signs of Change

Andalusia has reported a drop in cases to 3,796 in the last 24 hours which makes it two days in a row with decreases. Malaga with 912 cases was the worst hit province in the last 24 hours, Granada reported the lowest with 144 followed by Jaen with 180.

There is some more positive news and that is that 2,106 patients were declared cured and 90,888 have received the second dose of the vaccine.

As for incidence rate for Huelva province is 1,085. Ayamonte has seen a drop below two thousand barrier (1,990) while all the surrounding towns with the exception of Villablanca have all seen the rate drop.

Sadly, there were 106 more deaths declared today in Andalusia which brings the total number of deaths since the pandemic began in Andalusia to 6,542.

There are currently 4,980 patients in Andalusian hospitals with Covid-19 of which 705 are in intensive care. Today there are 299 people hospitalized in Huelva hospitals of which 33 are in intensive care.
