Andalusia has reported a drop in cases to 3,685 in the last 24 hours which makes it four days in a row with decreases. Malaga with 833 cases was the worst hit province in the last 24 hours, Huelva reported the lowest with 174 followed by Jaen with 201.

There is some more positive news and that is that 2,158 patients were declared cured and 92,196 have received the second dose of the vaccine.

Sadly, there were 28 more deaths declared today in Andalusia which brings the total number of deaths since the pandemic began in Andalusia to 6,935.

There are currently 4,359 patients in Andalusian hospitals with Covid-19 of which 735 are in intensive care. Today there are 277 people hospitalized in Huelva hospitals of which 34 are in intensive care.

The number of people hospitalized in Huelva has dropped now every day since last Thursday and although it is still very high at 277, it is very much going in the right direction.

Ayamonte will continue with current restrictions until 20th of February as we remain in Level 4 grade 2. So only essential shops can open, and curfew remains from 22.00 until 06.00. The incidence numbers are not published over the weekend, but the latest numbers have been encouraging.
