Andalusia has reported 1,053 cases in the last 24 hours, a drop of 306 on yesterday’s figures. Cordoba with 173 reported the most cases. Almeria had the lowest on 47 and Huelva next 101.

Sadly, there were 13 more deaths declared today 21 less than yesterday. Huelva did not declare any new deaths and the total remains at 117 Since the pandemic began in Andalusia there have been 4,598 deaths to Covid.

Huelva has 12 patients in intensive care and the number of people in hospital has dropped below a hundred (78) this weekend for the first time since early November. There are currently 1,329 patients in Andalusian hospitals with Covid-19 of which 301 are in intensive care.

 

The pressure on the hospitals in Huelva is lowering and mobile testing units are screening in various towns within the province. Tomorrow, Monday, the mobile screening unit will be in Ayamonte and people are being called to take the test at different set times to avoid crowds. Only people who have received a phone call or a SMS to their phone should attend the testing centre and at the requested time.
