The President of the Andalusian Council, Juanma Moreno, has announced the new restrictions which come into force at 00.00 Monday 11th January and will remain in place until Midnight 24th January. Following the recommendations of the Committee of Experts the following has been agreed.
- The borders of Andalusia are closed, and you can only cross in or out for a just cause.
- Free movement remains between the eight provinces in Andalusia (However, Juanma Moreno, did emphasis during the press conference that it would stay that way for the time being).
- Curfew will now be from 22.00 until 06.00 ( maximum permitted under Spanish laws).
- Max of six people allowed to meet up.
- Shops can stay open until 20.00 Bars and restaurants must close by 18.00 (Coffee shops until 20.00, no alcoholic beverages).
- Food take away service can be collected up until 21.30 and delivered up to 23.30.
- Primary and Secondary schools remain open Universities in Level 4 will remain online (Granada, Jaen, Almeria, and Jerez).
La Linea de Concepcion and AƱora in Cordoba are in Level 4 grade 2 so the mobility in these municipalities is restricted and all non-essential shops must remain closed as well as bars and restaurants.
