The Andalusian Council will review the incident rate every Monday and Thursday and then will put into action the results of these reports the following Wednesday and Saturday. Take the example of Ayamonte today which has a rate of 752, we are now in the bracket of above 500 cases so from the first minute of Wednesday we will no longer be allowed to leave the municipality without a justified reason, nor will anyone be allowed to travel to Ayamonte without a justified cause.

Below are the incidence rates that I have calculated based on the figures published for the last 14 days in each of our local towns. As you can see the only town that will its inhabitants to travel freely within Huelva will be Villablanca.

Today Andalusia reported 4,366 new cases which is lower than the previous two days but still at unsustainable numbers. Huelva had 254 new cases and was the only province not to report any deaths to Covid.

The number of Covid patients in Andalusian hospitals has jumped to 2,473 of which 372 are in intensive care. Huelva now has 115 Covid patients which is just two short of the normal provision for Covid patients not including the 15 intensive care beds. The pressure on all the Andalusian hospitals has increased in the last 7 days.
