Andalusia has reported a drop in cases to 4,285 in the last 24 hours a huge improvement on previous days figures which were well over 7,000. Malaga with 892 cases was the worst hit province in the last 24 hours, Huelva and Jaen both reported the lowest with 248. There is some more positive news and that is that 1,444 patients were declared cured and 78,574 have received the second dose of the vaccine. As for incidence rate for Huelva province is 1,127. Ayamonte has now exceeded the two thousand barrier 2,109 while in Isla Cristina the slow decrease continues. Sadly, there were 38 more deaths declared today in Andalusia which brings the total number of deaths since the pandemic began in Andalusia to 6,436. There are currently 4,783 patients in Andalusian hospitals with Covid-19 of which 692 are in intensive care. Today there are 284 people hospitalized in Huelva hospitals of which 30 are in intensive care.
