The Andalusian ministry for Health and Families announced today the Plan 500,000, a vaccination plan which aims to vaccinate a minimum of half a million people every week. To do so they will make 750 vaccinations points available throughout Andalusia.
The ambitious plan is expected to start in April when larger batches of the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca vaccines are delivered, and they may well be complimented with new vaccines as they become available. The plan will continue until everyone in Andalusia is vaccinated.
Each of these vaccination points will be prepared to have a reception area to inform the person to be vaccinated, an area for vaccination where each person will receive the jab from a qualified professional and a post vaccination area where people who have the vaccine will be observed to ensure they have no adverse reaction.
Huelva will have 29 fixed vaccination points, five mobile vaccination units and 28 points within health centres, clinics, or hospitals.
