Following the guidelines laid down by the Ministry of Health and the Junta de Andalusia’s Ministry of Family & Health, Ayamonte Town Hall have introduced several preventive measures against the COVID 19.

INDIVIDUAL GENRIC PROTECTION MEASURES:

• Wash hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water or an alcohol-based solution.
• When coughing cover your mouth with a Kleenex or cough into your elbow.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
• Avoid contact with people who are showing signs of respiratory illnesses (coughing / sneezing)
• Maintain a safe distance of over one metre with people with symptoms of severe respiratory infections.

The most common symptoms of Coronavirus are Fever, cough and the sensation of breathlessness. All municipal sporting, cultural, training activities which are carried out by the local administration be it indoor or outdoor have been suspended. Local markets have been temporarily suspended.  All sporting competitions and training in the local clubs and municipal grounds have been suspended.

All public events where there will be an agglomeration of people like concerts, talks and meetings have also been suspended.

Ayamonte library is closed for the time being.

The local tourism office has also been closed.

The Municipal Prudencio Navarro Park in Ayamonte is closed until further notice. It is also recommended that any private establishments like pools, gyms or clubs suspend their activity temporarily.

At the time of publishing this text the Town Hall of Ayamonte 12.03.2020 21.36, the Town Hall in Ayamonte have stated that Ayamonte does not have a single registered case of Coronavirus -19.
