The minister for Health & Families for the Junta de Andalusia, Jesus Aguirre, has confirmed that 10,260 PCR tests have been carried out on Health care workers in Andalusia since the start of the crisis. The majority of the tests were carried out on women 7,510 and the rest on men 2,750. From these tests 8,182 have tested negative and 2,078 positive cases. A total of 2.51% of the Andalusian health care workforce have either been in quarantine or isolated and 57 of these have recovered.
There has been a total of 5,252 new cases declared today and the total confirmed cases is now at 188,068. The number of deaths has now reached 19,498. The number of people who have recovered is 72,963.
Meanwhile in Andalusia there are 11,053 confirmed cases of which 5,298 have needed hospitalisation and 675 have needed intensive care. Andalusia has also found 381 cases where patients have little or no symptoms of Covid19. As of 21.00 yesterday there are 1,372 patients confirmed with Covid-19 in hospital and 315 of those are in intensive care. There have been 940 deaths (Malaga 214, Jaen 129, Granada 191, Cordoba 70, Cadiz 71, Seville 197, Almeria 39, Huelva 29). In Seville there are 2,278 cases and 1012 of those required hospitalization with 138 in intensive care. There have been 197 deaths while 416 have recovered.
In Andalusia there have been a total of 940 deaths so far. A total 2,790 patients have recovered.
In Huelva there are 352 cases, this being an increase of 5 new cases today, 201 have been hospitalized with 29 in intensive care. Sadly, one new death was reported today so total is now 29. The good news is 89 have now recovered from the virus.
