There has been an increase in the confirmed cases today but we are just coming out of a bank holiday weekend in which we saw lower than expected numbers reported. Barcelona and Madrid have over 63% of the new confirmed cases (405 & 143 respectively). Andalusia on the other hand only had 16 new cases and Huelva has had none again today.

There has been a total of 867 new cases declared today and the total confirmed cases is 219,329. The number of deaths has now reached 25,613. The number of people who have recovered is 123,486

Meanwhile in Andalusia there are 14,394 confirmed cases of which 5,983 have needed hospitalisation and 738 have needed intensive care. As of 21.00 yesterday there are 644 (-75) patients confirmed with Covid-19 in hospital and 136 (0) of those are in intensive care.

In Andalusia with 7,230 patients recovered, the hospitals are as follows please note that the total of patients hospitalised includes those in intensive care

There have been 1,267 deaths in Andalusia (Malaga 261, Jaen 162, Granada 255, Cordoba 102, Cadiz 136, Seville 259, Almeria 49, Huelva 43). In Seville there are 2,711 cases and 1,163 of those required hospitalization with 146 in intensive care. There have been 259 deaths while 1,045 have recovered.

In Huelva there are 466 cases, No new cases today, 220 have been hospitalized with 30 in intensive care. No new deaths were reported today so the total remains at 43. And even more good news is that 219 have now recovered from the virus.
